Walker Royall has contributed to and led Briarwood Capital Corporation since 1996. While he spends time managing all aspects of its operations, Walker Royall also gives energy to the Dads' Partnership at Episcopal School of Dallas (ESD).
The ESD understands the importance of both parents' involvement with their children. That is why they have the Dads' Partnership which helps boost the involvement of dads and their children in all grade levels. They host events like internship programs, breakfasts, movie nights, and sporting events.
Research has shown that when fathers participate in their children's education, children perform better and show healthier behavior. The goal is to engage fathers in their child's academic activities. Children with involved fathers usually have improved grades, stronger verbal skills, and better math skills. While kids with uninvolved fathers are double as likely to repeat a grade or drop out of school altogether.
